Well-proven across hundreds of installations, MeterRing MM utilises Elcomponent's wide range of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) hardware to provide reliable and cost-effective AMR functionality in virtually all environments. And with MeterRing you keep all your savings because the software is a 'one off' purchase, licensed on a 'per site' basis with no ongoing costs or charges, except our optional maintenance package. It handles all data collection and storage duties as well as providing very comprehensive M&T functionality delivered via a friendly and intuitive user-interface. It uses MS SQL as its primary database and is therefore instantly compatible with most IT environments and readily integrated with third-party software packages.

Data collection

MeterRing MM gives you the choice when it comes to data collection. The data collection software interfaces seamlessly with all our AMR hardware to ensure that the system as a whole delivers the highest possible performance and reliability at the lowest possible cost. It's compatible with our Ethernet, VHF & UHF radio, RS485 and GSM/GRPS networks, all of which have been fully tested across many different applications. Our flexible approach to networking and data acquisition means we don't use a 'one size fits all' approach. Our MeterRing packages use a combination of technologies to deliver the most cost-effective solution to suit the prevailing site conditions and client needs. We make the system fit the application, not the other way round.

Integration

MeterRing is a complete product, but it's easy to integrate with other software packages and information sources.

You can directly import data files from our SPC Portable Data Loggers, effectively allowing you to add 'temporary meters' to your system and view all your data streams via the same desktop, and there is a comprehensive data export capability too.

Elcomponent's RealTime screens and MeterWeb dashboards are just two ways that the Power of MeterRing MM can be externally utilised, but we don't just provide links to our own products. We have worked closely with all the major M&T software providers over many years to ensure that our AMR data is easy to access via your existing M&T software or other third-party package.
