Remote Data Collection Unit

Remote data collection unit for dial-up networks. The R-DCU replaces the PC as the network controller, and provides the modem interface for the dial-up link. It provides data collection for up to 200 local metering points, and utilises E Square PROM memory to prevent loss of readings during power outages. Failsafe operation ensures automatic system restart when power returns. The RDCU is fully isolated for safe conenction to the telephone network via a standard modem.
