The Radio-Tech 'licence exempt' radio transceivers are high quality well proven units, and are recommended as a replacement for cable connections on RS485 systems where local conditions make this desirable. They are suitable for use with most RS485 hardware, and can be included into a cable network in specific areas, or can be used to provide a 'totally radio' system. The units offer communication over distances of up to 5km depending on local conditions, and will also provide a reliable link between buildings. We also supply a range of brackets, masts and aerial mounting hardware. NOTE: Reliable performance on radio-based systems depends on the correct use of available frequencies, and the right choice of aerial. We carry out a detailed 'radio survey' on your behalf to ensure that these important aspects are correctly specified, assuring reliable performance of the network.
